How to find our shop

Travelling inland from Bamburgh and Holy Island towards the Cheviot hills you will find Heatherslaw nestled between the picturesque villages of Ford and Etal. From the Heatherslaw car park, cross the bridge over the river Till.

Our shop is situated on the right hand side and opposite the cornmill and tearooms.

As there is a high roadside curb, we have a strong wheelchair ramp that can be used to access the shop. Just ask if you wish to use it and we will set it up for you.

Plan your day

Whatever your interests you will find plenty to do as Ford and Etal Estates and the surrounding area have over 20 attractions. View Lady Waterford's paintings, see the working cornmill, visit a heavy horses centre, walk, hire a cycle or travel on a light railway, and immerse yourself in the local history of The Battle of Flodden and Etal Castle. And there's plenty of tearooms when you need refeshments too!
